You are about to begin the Teaching All Students, Reaching All Learners professional development training program. The purpose of this program is to support postsecondary faculty and staff by providing information on ways to improve postsecondary education outcomes for students with disabilities. By increasing understanding of disability related issues, rights of students with disabilities, and the technologies available to assist them, the doors to learning will be open to all. Below is some important information to guide you in this process.

Sections

The Teaching All Students, Reaching All Learners professional development training program is composed of four modules: Rights & Responsibilities, Universal Design, Assistive Technology and Hidden Disabilities. The first module is about the rights of students with disabilities and your responsibilities as a post secondary faculty or staff in providing them with reasonable accomodations. The next module focuses on the importance of accessibility and universal design for all. The following module provides information about the different types of assistive technology available to support students with disabilities. The final module provides information about hidden disabilities.

A test will be given at the end of the final module to assess your knowledge on the content of this training. A certificate of completion will be awarded at the end of this training upon successful completion with a score of 80% or higher on the test.

Certificate

A 20 question mastery test will be given at the end of the Teaching All Students, Reaching All Learners training program. Upon successfully completing this test, you will be instructed on how to download and print a Completion Certificate either to submit to your employer or for your personal records.
